Guest speaker Michelle Carter will discuss this memoir that details the year she served as the USIA's Journalist-in-Residence in Russia, midwifing newspaper professionals through the birth of an independent press in the post-Soviet, pre-Putin era. Books will be available for purchase and the event will conclude with a Q&A session and Book Signing.
